The next Whiff of Grapeshot Show 10th August 2008

Whiff of Grapeshot is a medium sized wargames show held in the historical royal arsenal which is now home to a large part of the royal artillery museum collection, transferred from the old rotunda building. the museum is well worth a visit to see a wide range of artillery equipment from days gone by to currently in service. It is staffed by a small but dedicated crew and several knowledgeable volunteers. It also has a very good cafe serving reasonably priced fine food & drink. There are plenty things for the young and young at heart to do. The gift shop has a wide range of toys, books and gifts.
The Museum is also home to the Whiff of Grapeshot wargames show supported by Gravesend Wargames club, without whose selfless help over the weekend the show could not be as smooth running as it always is.The show is in its 5th year.It has become an enjoyable family social event.
Numbers were down this year due to the clash with Britcom, but whilst we lost some traders to that show which was eneivitable. We picked up several new ones.
